Confidentiality by design

NAUPT exists to make investing and creating value in Portugal safer, simpler and more effective. It acts on the investor’s side and coordinates the specialist ecosystem required to deliver.
Discuss a mandateBecause an investor can appoint excellent lawyers, engineers, banks, advisers and real-estate specialists and still lack integrated decision ownership. NAUPT selects and coordinates the network, manages dependencies and maintains one point of accountability across the mandate.

Nearly three decades connecting strategy, corporate finance, M&A, operations and industrial engineering.
An industrial engineering and management graduate of the University of Aveiro, with postgraduate study at the University of Minho, Lúcio has led and advised businesses across management consulting, operational transformation, corporate finance, investment incentives and industrial ventures. His experience includes CEO and operating roles, company formation, value creation and transaction advisory.
At NAUPT, he is the named senior point of accountability: responsible for mandate fit, independent judgement, execution architecture and editorial review.
Operating values
Values matter only when they change which mandates are accepted, what is recommended and how execution is governed.
Information is collected and shared on a need-to-know basis, with proportionate controls and clear limits.
Weak assumptions, conflicts and no-go conclusions are surfaced early, even when they reduce immediate fees.
Advice remains independent from any provider, asset, institution or transaction outcome.
Decisions, risks, responsibilities and evidence are documented and governed.
The team and network are designed around the mandate rather than permanent overhead or provider volume.
Every mandate should create not only an outcome, but reusable data, knowledge, benchmarks, relationships and playbooks that improve the next decision.
Start by framing the decision. NAUPT will assess fit, conflicts, compliance, capability and the appropriate perimeter before confirming any mandate.
